Recognizing some wonderful members in noomle community

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 10:34 pm

Dear Noomlers:

It has been brought to our attention through discussion and suggestions from Noomle members in the community that you would like Noomle to launch another award. We want you to know that we have heard your requests and are happy to introduce the “Noomler of the Month!”

In the Noomle community, there are some special members who work to make a difference in the community. They work by helping, posting valuable information, and answering your questions. These members do not do this for the recognition, but do so because they are happy to contribute in anyway. Noomle believes these people need to be recognized for their good deeds and deserve an award along with a big thank you for sharing their time in helping the community.

Therefore, we will open a Nomination Thread to the public. This way you can choose to nominate a person you think deserves to be called the “Noomler of the Month.” This thread will be located in Break room/Noomle Nominations. keep reading

Two new features are released in Noomle

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 7:42 pm

This has been a very interesting week at Noomle. 2 strong features got released and more is coming on its way. This has been a nice start for 2010. We will have a new direction, new features, and strong and clean community.

The last features were:

1- Visibility for Articles: this feature allowed members to make some articles invisible in their websites, but linked them from other articles by keywords. It helps members to keep their websites growing without having a large list of articles at the sides. Plus it gave the ability to link using keywords inside other visible articles. Members with their big imaginations used this feature to create wonderful pages and made their ideas come to life. Good job Noomlers!

2- Twit Articles: This is a new feature that was released today. By using Twit articles, members will be able to share articles with the world by using twitter API, one of the fastest growing social networks in the Net. We have added our own URL Shortner service for this. It is located at ra3.net, a website exclusively for Noomlers only. Since this website is not open to the public, it is a more stable, secure, and faster redirector of traffic that comes from their friends and twitter followers.

More ideas and suggestions continue to come from our members. We stand behind our premise that “We are good at what we do because we listen to our community.” Our goal is to build the smartest system, easily operated by smart domainers that want to develop their domain names into small or large websites in order to share the knowledge and unique content in the Net.

Our door is always open, and we always are and will continue to welcome everyone who wants to join the caravan of development for free. As always we ask for and welcome your donations anytime, as they are always appreciated.

Thank You,

Noomle Administration

Noomle Mobile System is on

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 11:43 pm

As the only Ad-Hoc Development and Publishing Engine of its kind, Noomle.com is implementing mobile delivery into the value added propositions for Domain Name Owners.
In continuation of its well respected “no revenue share” model, Noomle.com is adding a fully automated browser detection platform to its services to address the ever growing popularity of mobile browsing. The incoming browser is automatically detected, while the Noomle engine delivers the correct format to the requesting device.
Opposing to traditional domain parking platforms, Noomle Mobile will continue to deliver unique, user created content through stock templates, with the implementation of Google Mobile Ads on top of the template. During the extensive open Beta testing, Noomle will offer an even traffic share between the domain name owner and the Noomle.com engine, where both parties stand to gain additional revenues, at no financial charge to the domain name owner.
There are 405 million mobile internet users worldwide, according to Internet research firm eMarketer, and within four years this number is expected to double. While the global economy is battling the ongoing recession, advertisers have by far and large revised their budgets and strategies. For the first time since conception of mainstream internet connectivity to American households, Internet advertising has seen a decline in Dollars spent on campaigns. In positive news, advertising spending on the mobile market has increased.
We welcome you to Noomle Mobile!

…less than 6 months time. For internet speed, and without artificial bumping, this is a considerable accomplishment, validating the mission of Noomle.com.
The Noomle.com engine is progressing with rapid speed and the results are evident by Google’s latest PR updates. Noomle.com, the main page of the ad-hoc development engine, has just claimed PR6, a clear demonstration that the engine is well indexed, linked to and regarded to, by the search engine giant from Mountain View, CA.

The success of Noomle.com is resting solely with the acceptance of the products presented and use of the features within. As so often, the Noomle community has realized the cutting edge advantages in revenue generation, opportunity to present their domains and generate revenue.

Another recent addition to the Noomle domain name engine, the Noomle.com Market, is giving domain name owners who are also Noomle.com members a low cost alternative to presenting and selling their domain names. The Noomle Market has already found broad acceptance within the Noomle community, proving that this is yet another opportunity to drive revenue without revenue sharing.
The Noomle.com engine is going to continue to revolutionize the domain name market and its ad-hoc development opportunities. One of the upcoming changes will revolve around the control panel and ease of functionality. More about this in the next announcement, though. Until then,

Announcement: CPM Implementation

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 7:27 am

Noomlers!

Recently, some of the changes in Noomle’s business plan have caused some confusion, questions and raised a few eye brows.

Given the increase in server load, hosted sites, pages served and security requirements, we have moved Noomle.com to a new, better server and continue to improve the engine itself.

At the same time, the upkeep of the Noomle engine is becoming more costly as days go by, and while we firmly stand behind the “free” model, we have found the need for a few revisions in the business model of revenue generation.

Presently, the Noomle engine is supported by your contributions in form of donations. In other words, contributing Noomlers are supporting the majority of the network. While some are donating more than once per month, others are unable to donate or simply cannot spare any funds at this time. We are not pointing fingers here, as we firmly believe that each Noomle user is doing as much as they can, the most recent threads regarding this topic have been ample proof of this.

During the server move and for apparent financial reasons, we’ve implemented restrictions for Noomle users who could not contribute. In the past days, we have worked on other financial solutions that will shape the future of the Noomle.com engine and the opportunities of its members.

The Noomle.com engine is going to implement CPM advertising into its business model. In short, CPM advertising stands for “Cost per thousand” – every thousand impressions (site views) that are being delivered through the Noomle.com engine, will generate revenue for Noomle.com.

However, while we are implementing a CPM advertising model, this model does not blanket all Noomle users, but applies only to the ones that are unable to contribute. One of the major changes under these inclusions are account levels:

The “Free” Noomler:

- Does not contribute/donate financially to the Noomle network

- Will see a Banner Ad located in the Footer of the site

o The Banner Ad is a CPM ad for which the Noomle.com engine will get paid

- Domain restrictions will be lifted, you’re welcome to add as many domains as you like

o No Adult Domains

o No Typo Domains

- No restrictions on the amount of articles, additional menus, etc.

Your domains will not be affected by this measure. At the same time, the Noomle.com engine generates revenue to stay financially afloat. And you, the Free Noomler remains just as such, a Free Noomle User.

The Contributing Noomler:

- Does contribute/donate financially to the Noomle network

- Will not see a Banner Ad in the footer of their sites

- Contributions of any value are good for 2 months and will receive:

o The Contributor Badge inside the forum

o Full Access to the all templates, including contributor templates and newly added templates

After 2 months or anytime before, the Contributor Noomler has the option to contribute/donate again (No pre determined amounts), a message will appear in your Admin Panel – or –

Drop down to Free Noomler:

- Access to the new contributor templates will be locked

- The Contributor Badge inside the forum will be removed

- Banner Ads will appear in the Footer of the domains

We believe that this solution is non obtrusive to your domains, designs and display of content, while simultaneously serving to keep the Noomle.com engine financially supported.

The CPM model will be activated on June 6th 2009 at 1am EST.

We are aware that this type of implementation may not suit everyone and we will, most likely, have a few raised eye brows again. Yet, given the success of the Noomle engine, undoubtedly enabled by you, the user, we have an obligation to keep the Noomle engine running strong, support the future additions of software and hardware and continue on our path of mutual business success.

We certainly continue to appreciate all present Noomle users who have joined us early on and welcome all future Noomle.com users who have an interest in retaining 100% of their earnings with no revenue split of any sort.

Noomle.com implements (minor) business model revisions!

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 8:15 am

Noomlers

The Noomle.com community has found an incredibly high level of acceptance throughout the domain name owners world. Hundreds have joined and brought thousands of domains with them to get hosted through the Noomle.com engine. All within only 4 months of active business!

However, with the increased acceptance come increased server loads and culprits shaken with jealousy are attempting to sabotage Noomle.com

In order to retain the service levels and security of the Noomle engine, we will need to increase our server capacity and overall security precautions. As you may anticipate, such an undertaking costs not just a considerable dedication of time and effort, but also asks for a higher financial contribution.

Unfortunately, at this time, out of the current number of Noomle subscribers who are obtaining traffic and revenue through the Noomle engine, only roughly 10% are financially contributing to keeping Noomle alive, leaving ~90% of subscribers to ride a free train, provided by the ones that contribute.

Fair? We think it’s not.

We have no intention to changing all core values of Noomle.com, but a few adjustments will be set in place to make Noomle a better, stronger and more evenly distributed place for your domains.

Portfolio: While every subscriber can still upload unlimited domains, non contributors will only see 15 domain names in their portfolio. The remainder, although uploaded, cannot be managed until the Noomler joins the contributor group. Once joined, the portfolio will display all uploaded domain names which will also be manageable at this point.

Custom Logo: As you can probably imagine, custom logos present a storage challenge to the Noomle server. While the feature in itself is definitely staying, it will be locked to non contributors and only be made available to contributing Noomlers.

Articles: As a non contributing member, each of the 15 manageable domains can be loaded with 3 articles. Contributing Noomlers see their entire portfolio and are encouraged to publish as many articles as they choose.

Extra menu/stores: Non contributing members have one additional menu available, per domain.

Help center in the forum: Non contributors can read existing solutions, but cannot request answers or help to a custom question pertaining to their situation.

As you can see in the graphical representation, there are highly compelling arguments why any Noomle subscriber should turn into a contributing subscriber.

In the most simple terms: You get more bang for your buck and at the same time you’re keeping Noomle.com alive.

We acknowledge the fact that some may be concerned that these changes are counterproductive, others may be in severe disagreement. You have been heard, and we’ve taken all objections in consideration.

The Noomle administration will continue to conduct business with transparency.

We thank you for your understanding and continued support!
